BJP MLA Akash Saxena wrote a letter

Akash Saxena said that anyone who is punished by the court, does not have the right to vote again, so we have demanded the Electoral Registration Officer to abolish the right to vote of Abdullah Azam. In the letter he has written, he has said that under Section 16 of the RP Act, a provision has been made to deprive a convicted criminal of the right to vote. Therefore, you are requested to try to remove the name of Abdullah Azam from the voter’s list.

There is a mixed reaction among the people of Rampur on the issue of demand for abolition of the legislature of Abdullah Azam and abolition of his voting rights. Some people say that if the court has sentenced, then it would be good. We need a leader who will develop Rampur, who will bring development and employment in Rampur, we need such a public representative. Azam Khan and Abdullah Azam have been punished for their actions by the court.

Let us tell you that in the Chhajlat case of the year 2008, the MP MLA court of Moradabad has sentenced Abdullah Azam to two years. After which his legislature has been canceled and now the sword is hanging on his voting rights as well.
